Meet the Team

Born in Uganda to Rwandese refugee Tutsi parents, I began life in a world of segregation, civil war, and abject poverty. Unable to return to the war-torn place of my origin at the time—and plagued by violent discrimination in my adopted country—I fought to find safe haven. As a child, the only constants were my grandfather, our cows and dogs. Because of Grandpa’s wisdom and our bond, I decided to pursue our love of animals as my profession. This is why I became a veterinarian.

For more on my story, please check out my book! Available on Amazon.   I studied Veterinary medicine at Makerere University, Uganda; one of the best universities in Africa. I moved to America to advance my training with an internship in Kentucky and to give my family a better life.  I took the American Veterinary Association required tests; ECFVG/AVMA (at Mississippi State University) to get licensed in the USA. 

Now Dr Kalenzi owns two veterinary practices

'Rock Creek Veterinary Hospital' as well as its sister clinic 'Niwot  Veterinary Clinic' where he regularly practices at both locations. 

Dr. Paul Veralli is a distinguished doctor in the field of veterinary medicine, with a career spanning over 40 years. With an unwavering commitment to the well-being of animals, Dr. Veralli has become a trusted name in the community of Boulder/Longmont, Colorado, where he resides with his wife, Sandy and their playful German Shepherd, Lila.

Throughout his professional journey, Dr. Veralli has owned and managed two highly successful veterinary hospitals in Frisco and Longmont, Colorado. His expertise and dedication have earned him a sterling reputation among both clients and peers alike.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Veralli finds joy in exploring the world through travel and nurturing the earth and his family through his passion for gardening. His multifaceted interests reflect his vibrant spirit and insatiable curiosity.

Known for his exceptional skill, integrity, and reliability, Dr. Veralli embodies the qualities of a truly outstanding veterinarian.
